Lets ban moblie phones in schools completely

After Delhi, Andhra Pradesh has done the same today. AndhraPradesh government has banned use of mobile phones in schools across state. The school education department has issued orders prohibiting students from bringing mobile phones to schools.

Department has also banned use of mobile phones by teachers in classrooms. The teachers have been directed to deposit their cell phones with the headmaster before going to the classrooms.

Can we all comment on this and perhaps LC manager can take up for survey and a national
Law be made. Its a menace. Good studious kids are at the biggest loss due to this. Hard to stand against peer pressure.

Banning anything, especially technology at the hands of younger people, is a retrograde step. Instead, children should not be proactively accessing mobile during classes. Everyone should keep phones in silent mode and follow some discipline. more

One can ban usage of mobile phone in school but banning it completely is not a good idea. What if a child faces an emergency and wants to contact parents?. more

Before mobile phones, child faced an emergency too. Parent is God almighty? Respect teachers also. Keep child in parent's lap otherwise. more
