Life Maintenance Standard - a burning need

Hello all this is SN Mittal from Bangalore. Our city bangalore is fast growing vertically as new IT service job holders prefer community living.

Lifts are being maintained in their own way by socieities and once a year or whenever they bribe the lift inspector to renew their certificate.

Can BI set standards on how lifts are managed and maintained and then RWAs can ensure these standards are adhered to.

Please advise if templates are there on this. The issue has been discussed in some other circle in past but no action by consumer ministry and BIS more

We have rules & laws for everything which are easily floated by the corrupts exist in every nooks and corners. There are no reasons to believe that RAW people are honest and will work in the interest of the common man. more

In our society, it is checked and serviced every month. Regular maintenance schedule defined by company. To save the charges, few maintenance officials skip services with risk of many. Largest are at risk. This is a criminal offence. more

This Bribing practice has to STOP completely.Otherwise we are going to dig our Grave.Why blame system or others.Both person bribing and taking bribe must be punished severely. more

Please call the NATIONAL HELP LINE FOR THE CONSUMERS 1600 11 4000 (OFFICE HOURS)and get proper guidance .I have taken their advise and fixed these faulty and shameless SERVICE PROVIDERS.PLEASE DO NOT GIVE UP.TRUTH MUST PREVAIL.In India ,even to-day,if have time and patience ,your grievances will be sorted out.GOOD LUCK.BN DAS more
