Limit the use of loud-speakers in Temples located in Residential Areas. Please discuss.
Those temples which are located in residential areas, generally allow use of Loud-Speakers to anyone for Kirtan / Bhajan / Jaagran. People bribe (in the form of dakshina) the caretakers/Pandits and use the temple premises easily for all religious occasions, at cheap rates.
If organized with proper advertisements and advance notice, those interested can schedule their day-to-day activities accordingly and also enjoy such religious occasions. Otherwise the use of Loud-Speakers in these temples create lot of Noise Pollution for people living close to these temples.
Can the government do something to limit the use of Loud-Speakers in those temples which are located in Residential Areas ?
Note that sometimes these loud-speakers are used past midnight, even though it is against the legislation. We being Hindus respect our Gods and hence our Temples, but those residing close to such temples (in residential areas) suffer daily due to this noise from loud-speakers. It severely impacts children during exam times as they are unable to sleep.
I am sure most of us must have faced similar situations. So please share your thoughts on how the central/state government can check this misuse.
Please share more views on this issue which impacts all of us at some point in time.

remove the loudspeakers from every temple,mosque,church.....this would make the life of the people living in surrounding areas better...AT least from the madarsas...They create a lot of noise pollution and no body has dared to remove the loudspeakers so far...

The biggest problem is that even police does not take such complaints on noise pollution seriously. If someone approaches police station for this purpose, it is even more embarrassing. Biggest problem is implementation of any laws if made by the government for such issues. Biggest challenge in India is Governance.

Loadspeakers must not be allowed beyond the tolerance limits, more particularly near residences, hospitals, schools and any other religious establishment. Otherwise it may create problems for the affected persons.
