To mention few for consideration ae following: Provide low cost or free legal help centres for rural population as well poorer section of of our society . This will protect large number of innocent or ignorant people being duped by job providers, money lenders, ponzi (chit funds) schemes, real estate agents, insurance and job market. 2. Our urban population is gradually becoming small with one or two children and as they grow up , they leave their old parents alone. Make arrangements for help centres in all major towns for aged people. Provide more old age habitats or hostels. 3. Provide help to girls/women who want to continue education instead forcibly married off. 4. Provide stringent laws to stop domestic violence and harrassment on account dowry and family related financial issues. 5. Make sports compulsory in school and college curriculam more
I agree with Mr.Viswanatham regarding the solving of the problems faced by the people. If you gather about more than 10 persons the authorities will obey or the proceedings are to be vidieo and sent to the higher authorities/concerned minister/governor. If this prctise is adopted the authorities will work. The 12 hours will no work out since getting up earlier and coming to the office /work spot is not at all possible. But we adopt the work/office starts from 8 A.M. to 6 P.M. and saturday and sunday can be holidays. more
This opinion of mine is essentially the top 100 Railway stations in India: I think we have to draw a lesson from how airports operate. All the passengers shall collect in a large hall with all civic amenities. Access to platforms is restricted to only reserved passengers. The presence of people on the platform is very limited and world class amenities are provided here. Yes, there will be innumerable operational issues which can be easily addressed. Another lesson in this regard can be drawn from how the many industrial factories have upgraded themselves. When office gain by access control - why not the Railways? more
