Local Emergency/Disaster Response Communities
Dear all:
The Emergency/Disaster response circles for 60 districts of India have been initiated.
You have been given access to your district circle based on your address. If you don't see this circle listed in the left hand panel, please visit the link below to join your district's circle :

Once a member, you are requested to invite all your family/friends residing in your district to the Emergency circle .
We will soon start expanding these circles by inviting district authorities, blood banks, hospitals, NGOs etc. You are requested to do the same as well as you know your location best.
Also, thanks for all the inputs on who all can be invited and application of this circle.

I traveled by 16853 on 25th March Cholan Express from Chennai to Tiruchi in A/C 2T HA1, day train there was no dust bin and when I asked for one I was asked to through it out side the door. I brought the garbage home to dispose. more

"It is better to be in the hands of one knowledgeable doctor than in thousands of hands of the amateurish crowd" I see ambulances stuck in the traffic, no vehicles moves to the side to let the ambulances go. I think teaching the public traffic rules and heavy fines for uncivil behavior would fix a lot of problems. I guess many patients/victims die in the slow ambulances and no one tells why. more

Good thing. As I suggest earlier Railway must first nominate Nodal Authority/Officers at block level who coordinate civic agencies/local citizens/police/hospitals etc. Then it will be fruitfull and immediately helpful. more

Dear Sir,   Well my name is Harish Rajgopal, I am sorry for abruptly writing this mail to you, I think we have to give more responsibilities to our TC's i;e;, we have always think TC's are just checking tickets so I was wondering if you can give them extra responsibilities of handling all the issue like theft, terrorists and other criminal issues so they need additional training and we can provide some kind of weapons to them and ask them to take care of their bogies only and you must have some kind of rewards to them that will be great we can save extra manpower and save lots of lives and misshapen. Regards Harish Rajgopal, Group General Manager, Al-Karama Group Of Hypermarkets, Muscat, Ruwi,(Regional Office) Sultanate Of Oman.
