Food inspection is totally superficial untill they are paid in the chain to some link in inspection line.The answer is make it independent from municipality ,Army medical corps has a manual for hygiene for armed forces called as yellow book. If you read and follow any Lay man can do inspection and catch the faults.Every thing is documented since British times to present time. If some one can be trained it is only by Army medical corps training colleges. Drug inspection is totally 100% formal .Always the complaint is shortage of hands ( qualified)Pharmacy has lot of unemployed graduates but the posts are limited.Every one is rich in that line.Only national vigilence commission can set it right. more

Hare Krsna. Corruption is in blood of every officials - It is checking from Raw Material, other in puts, medical check up of employees, uniforms, hand gloves, caps, footwears and finally disposal of rotten raw material, expiry goods etc., more

All the business people by selfish motto or by force encourage corruption. In India no wonder to find corruption every where. Food n Drug dept and related businesses are no special. more
