LocalCircles id in railways

I received a message from Naina Mittal on localcircles id and her traffic police experience.

I would like to build on that and see how best this can help us get prompt action from railway staff as well as "beware" tte if he asked for bribes.

If somehow we could get names of circle like "Make Railways Better" printed on the is card, nothing like it.

Regardless, i have saved the card in my phone and my father who is also active in railways circle will be printing and keeping a laminated version in his wallet. more

RPF persons get hapta which are much more than there salary. so they will never do there duty. I have seen RPF persons taking bribe from Liquor agents. more
There is no harm if a volunteer Id card is given .Any one who sees the card understands that they are volunteers. Where is authoritarianism ? In fact it will /may ensure more awareness as they feel someone may bring it the notice of authorities if something goes wrong. more
I am not for issuance of I.D Cards . It will lead to authritarianism without authority. We in the circle are volunteers noe authrity ; by our good deed we must controll the TTE or the RPF , NOT THROUGH AUTHORITY. more
Rpf works for his salary and gets cases as told to do ,but if he works and strict you will not find one vendor doing business or selling fruits vegetables, flowers roasted peanuts in trains or stations which make the trains dirty and stations dirty one Question does the Station Master and TTE have any roll in this regard if yes why dont they check or stop these people or fine them detain them till late evening in the open where others could see them and get corrected.not to do business on stations. Annual survey of all individual train regarding income should be conducted. The trains which make losses should be withdrawn, particularly the long route express/super fast trains or the regular trains should be converted into weekly trains to minimize loss from govt exchequer. To my knowledge most trains like jansatabdi express/satabdi/haldia express/duronto etc are running daily one -third full.Such trains should be withdrawn on this ground. more
