LocalCircles Impact - LED Communication Improves

Thanks for all who participated in the LocalCircles survey on state of subsidised LED distribution.

Since the survey (available at link below) was released, we have heard both from EESL the PSU under Ministry of Power responsible for LED distribution communicate the process as well as we are seeing local SEB officials outlining the process in some local circles.

We have no system or communication by any body for distribution of Led bulbs in our area of Kavi Nagar Ghaziabad more
No one in our area has approached public for subsidized LED nor has any local or govt officials have spread any information about it whether in print, announcement, gathering etcc. this again shows at ground level nothing reaches and that too in a state like Mumbai. All MLA's , MP's are busy with their personal agenda and will appear after 5 yrs again as routine but no work on ground more
Could not locate telephone number of Wadala Depot on www.ujala.gov.in Need to know office / depot timings and holidays for collection of LED bulbs. Regards Niranjan Bhat ======================= On 8 September 2016 at 15:04, LocalCircles Manager < support@localcirclesmail.com> wrote: > more
Initiative on the part of central govt. to distribute LED at a reasonable/affordable rates to save energy is a welcome move. But we find that road and street lights have still not been replaced with LED which will result in major saving in energy. Hope this will be done at a great pace. more
Use of this campaign also tells about the alertness of Citizens of those states and authorities and Sensitivity to moderate the use of Power is also exhibited. best results shown by Pune Ahmedabad, Andhrapradesh and Rajasthan are signalling something. more
