Lockdown Delhi for 2-3 more weeks
If u have not voted on this poll do so please because Delhi needs to be locked for a minimum of 2 weeks.
We are flat to slightly rising see attached reports for last 2 days and with LG coming in picture decision making on many fronts will go through transition so better to bring cases down to 10000 or less and onky then move away from lockdown.
So far only benefit is its not gone to 50000 per day more

Whatever little bit improvement is there, it will be nullified if the lock-down is not further extended. Situation demands that lock-down needs to be further extended nationwide Pan India till 12th May, 2021 to break the chain. Ramzan Id/Eid-ul-Fitr is on 13th May and so let Offices open on Friday, the 14th May 2021. Hopefully by that time, the situation may be under control. Central/State Government should improve medical infrastructure capacity during this lock-down period and those on duty during this period must be motivated/incentivised. Raw data shouldn’t be the measurement tool for increase or decrease but it should be the percentage positivity rate depending upon number of fresh cases as percentage to total tests conducted. more

It is a Catch-22 situation. I have been attending Office whole of last week. I am taking care of SMS (Sanitizer/Mask/Social Distancing) however you never know in factory/office set up who is a carrier. I see crowds of people after 7:30 PM in Noida gathering to buy vegetables before proceeding home. Provision has to be bought...to buy provision you need to work. Hapless workers would nowhere to go if factories close down for 2-3 weeks. Neither Center nor State has given even a single naya paise to Entrepreneurs. It is easy to make statements on TV channels for posterity sake. Even North Delhi Municipal workers are yet to get their salaries despite Court orders. Both Center and State are still at loggerheads blaming each other. What would be the condition of these workers? more

Reduction in testing by 30 per cent and to declare decrease in "positive" cases does not warrant any other decision, whether by the CM or by the LG, than to continue with the lockdown.....until the situation is under control. The lockdown last year showed promising results; why not this year too? more
