Long standing demand being met by railways
Ministerof Railways has issued instructions today to make the seat availability public. Railways may hide the names of the travelers and vacant seats to travelers.
This will help minimise tte corruption and discretion.

An immediate action must be taken if any TTE is found to be involved in corruption by the means of demanding money for providing seats to the passengers without proper/full ticket, then only corrupt practices by TTE can be minimize. more

Mr Rana. Please clarify whose Aadhaar No. to be entered - user's or each passenger's...?If it is to be implemented then it has to be for all booking - through net/counter. If for all Raly's cannot deny reservation in train to a passenger who does not have Aadhaar....... more

What ever instruction is issued, the TTE will not respond unless action is taken against them. more
