Looking for an Pro Bono Lawyer
Kindly advice contact details of a Pro Bono lawyer in Delhi to help my friend who's a retired professional living in Middle East. At age of 65 her husband abandon her and not sending any financial support. He's running a business in India and my friend is a partner in the company. She has not taken any salary or profit in the company since it was established 12 years ago.
Her husband is not ready to give her any sort of financial support. Due to some unavoidable circumstances she can't travel to India. She doesn't have any source of income left in the country of residence, hence can't afford the legal expenses.
Please suggest any good lawyer in Delhi whom she can appoint to fight her case. more

Mr. Tanwar, if the lady is not financially capable to pay for legal cost towards the litigation against her husband. She can approach the Family Court in Patiala House Court in Delhi. The Legal Aid department is right there and she can seek advise by visiting them personally and honestly telling them of her ordeal. They will advise her to visit the nearest Legal Aid Dept near her residence. Every court has a legal Aid dept. This is a woman's fundamental Right to receive legal help towards any litigation with no cost. I hope I have been helpful. If there is a court near her residence , if she just asks any office in the court on Legal Aid they will guide her more

Please ask her to go to the nearest court close to her residence and walk into The Legal Aid wing. more
