Loot in the name of Special Trains.

Railways is literally lamenting by saying that common people are bearing your train ticket fare to be extent of 43%. Without publishing any white paper, they created their own statistics and harassing/insulting travelling passengers. Has any passenger asked for lower fares? We are paying basic fare (which is fixed at whims and fancies of some DCS), reservation charges, superfast charges, tatkal charges, dynamic fares, suvidha fares, antyodaya fares and special fares). Railways cannot black mail the passengers with false propoganda. I demand that they should release a while paper before saying that we are robbing the common man. We are paying full fares for RAC accommodation. We are not able to cancel the tickets while missing a train. You have to file TDR. The TTs are having a field day.

The Special trains from Secunderabad-Dharbanga and Hyderabad to Dharbanga were introduced with Train numbers 17007/8 and 17005/6. While the former runs twice a week and later travels once a week. I have been travelling in this train since 31.10.2012. Suddenly two months back, I found that these train numbers were changed to 07007/8 and 07005/6 and Railways started collecting Tatkal fares. This is sheer Criminal Act and tentamount to Loot by the mighty. The policy which was taken by Railways, perhaps, in the last budget, should apply for all new trains which are run as special trains for a specific periods to clear the rush. But changing a train number of a train which is running for the past 5 years, is - I should say s organised loot and the concerned Railway Officer who took this decision should be tried for breach of Public Trust and confidence. He shook the public confidence in the Government and its commitments. He cannot malign the Government respect is in the common man eyes. This is not public interest. That Railway Officer should be tried under Relevant SR/FR Rules for bringing disrepute to Central Govt. This kind of cheap methods should not be adopted by Railways for earning few more rupees. As a public I am ashamed to learn that Railways is resorting to back stabbing of common man and it is dirty. more

All concession should be UID linked to be payable through bank account as like gas connection. more
Indian Railways - Expert in organised loot by all departments more
Railways are totally inefficient with large manpower & unions. They need to change this, cut workforce, increase efficiency, run trains on time, use stations to generate income etc. before their claim of railways subsidying travellers can be taken seriously. Otherwise Modi Govt. will milk us dry. I didn't bargain for this kind of GOOD GOVERNANCE. more
I agree, kindly remove the sentence 43% of passengers fare is.... Why do not say it is compensated by goods train. Even writing such embarrassing sentences make people feel insecure. more
