Will the Health ministry enquire why a unit of packed blood cells costs Rs.850 in Bangalore and Rs.2400 in Delhi? This is not possible without foul play. more

For kind info of Sailesh Guptaji, I am 57 years of age and till date I have donated 18 units of blood; please do let me know if you want me to donate more to be eligible to post such concerns that affect the poor more than any one else. Are you suggesting that people and students in Delhi do not donate blood and here the govt does not provide any support, that is why same blood banks in Delhi charge 3 times more than their branches in Bangalore? more
I agree with the comment. more
Change our education system so.. this is the only problem which rises for many other issues. Why only 3000 students get profetional education in India. the rest were uneducated even though they have a degree. more
I agree with Nitin Suri ,but apart from blood all other services provided by Private Hospitals are so costly that a lower middle class can not afford it, specially after entry of Corporate bussiness hospitals earlier it was not so costly, govt. must think over some self employed and other workers working in small shops.etc who not able to get ESI benefits, what to do for them more
I think some standards of cost of blood to be supplied, should be laid down and displayed in Blood banks so that the patients and donors know what is standard practice. The prices might vary from city to city due to overheads, but the difference can not be three folds between metropolitan cities. more
