It seems, Railway is trying to offload all its deficits by charging the poor passengers exorbitantly be it on clerkage charges of booking or refund or by means of Tatkal & Premium Tatkal schemes. You can even see the recent hike of 100% in various facilities being offered. But in the last 20 years or even in the coming one year can the improve the facilities by 10%% or say 50% or even 10% of the facilities??? Yes If the public is silent why Railways should take extra pains in improvement??? who cares public??? more

Long time since the Indian Railways have transformed to act as a private company rather than a government organization serving the public. Days are not far when some fares may even exceed air fares. The have premium trains to clear the rush with a premium price - looting the public in a clever manner. Honestly, if they are able to provide facilities and service matching the money paid then nobody is going to grumble. with technological advancement they have substantially gone down in service more

Whether it is Railways or Public sector air lines, there are always complaints that they charge pilgrims heavily esp during seasons. Now several trains have been introduced to Kerala to help pilgrims to visit Sabarimala. All these special trains are having dynamic pricing. Senior citizen benefits are denied in these trains. Is it fair on the part of Railways to loot the pilgrims, when normally government subsidises the cost and facilitate pilgrimage? I request Indian Railways and the Government to immediately look into this grossly unfair treatment to pilgrims and to refund the excess fares charged. more
