loss of CCTV footage by Delhi Police to save advocate

It happens at Tis Hazari court outside court no 119 in November 2017, i was beaten by a group of 8 to 10 person dressed up as advocates, around 1120AM while i was waiting for my case to be called at 1130am, i was beaten by 8 to 10 advocates & police was called at phone on 100 twice, after medical Police station in charge refused to register FIR against advocate as per direction from court & bar council, on the same day complaints were made to CP of Delhi Police on e mail & to PM on portal, stating CCTV footage particularly as evidence, police register FIR on the next day at subzi mandi police station but did not mention advocate name & CCTV is not mention anywhere, i was called at DCP civil lines office & was given copy of FIR, on reply to RTI to police it is told that CCTV footage is stored only for 7 days & i am too late to mention the same as evidence , the first appellate authority also mention the same,.
now what to do?
Please advice... more

The CCTV can store for 15 days. Depends on the make and the instructions. You should independently check whether the police is telling the truth. L.Kalavathi Retired Bank Official Chennai, Tamilnadu, India 14/05/2018 more
BIRDS OF THE SAME FEATHER FLOCK TOGETHER! The Advocates, the Judges all belong to the same fraternity. The Advocates know the art of managing the Magistrates / Judges. Similarly the Advocates and Police Department maintain a good rapport with each other, so that they can mutually help each other by sharing the booty received from the distressed clients. This is the practical law followed by the advocate community in the Courts. more
In case CCTV evidence was incorporated in the FIR, registered against the complaint made by the complainant, possibly action could be initiated against the I.O. of the case for ignoring an important evidence. more
This is discursting Law protectors are breaking law, what worst can happen to a common citizen then this episode? Home ministry & High Court should take cognizance of such break of Law by Law enforcing Police & Lawyer. more
After 1st appellate Authority, you can move to RTI Commission and must indicate the urgency of the case for speedy decision. more
Sir, now there is no need to move to Appellate Authority or the Information Commissioner as the records have already been weeded out. more
