On all these fronts situation has worsened more
what is your expectation on Not growing fast enough to build genuine wealth ... By your standards in which year or decade we build genuine wealth. I agree corruption has increased , but how many of you in Govt or Ex Govt employee were honest more
The same constitution with no strict laws for corruption, no power with center on birth records, local law and order plus land under control of state govt....rising regional disparity....CBI unable to take action due to political compulsion....on and on more
People are defending by saying that corruption is reduced. I don't know in which world they are living in. Every other day, news is there that how a corrupt politician has joined BJP and his all the cases were withdrawn. More recent example is in Maharastra where one politician's thousand corer corruption case is waived off. If at the top these corrupt politicians are joining the government how come it will not flow down to lower level. Simple logic but andh bhakts (I usually try to avoid such adjectives but these type of justifications comples me to use it) does not have any relation with logic. Some of them are questioning lost 6 decades but they are not able to see what was the condition of country in 1947 and what was the condition in 2014 take any paramter of development but alas logic does not fit well with andh bhakts. Mr. Rohit Garg has quoted specific 5 parameters and on all the parameters it is gone worse. Take the pollution for example, just see what was the situation in 2014 and now in every city. In addition to these 5 parameters, another very important parameter is subversion of constitutional authorities. This was never before (with the exception of emergency which was shortlived fortunately) and very concerning trend because it is setting the precedence for future governments. more
We would have lost much more and we need to look at the positive side of all what has happened which would never have happened if the corrupt govt of ages had been there. more
