Low levels of oxygen can trigger symptoms of Corona

There are lots of people who are carrying germs and don't show symptoms
Reason is immunity to fight diseases
Normal levels of oxygen in blood are more than 90%
Person may have 50% of oxygen in blood, is walking and talking like a normal person, show no symptoms and suddenly gets breathlessness, needing a ventilator to breathe in

How do we improve oxygen levels in the blood?
Luckily pollution levels are low and pollution is lower like it was 20 years ago
Indoor pollution can be kept low by keeping indoors clean

Breathing exercises can be tried by doing yoga and also by using affordable machines available online ,tiny spirometer with instructions for breathing exercises
Cost is less than one thousand rupees

Patients who are suffering from asthma, COPD, heart disease and others as vulnerable citizens can buy oxygen concentrator from reputed companies like Philips
Please don't buy online because of cost that is lower than usual 40,000,forty thousands rupees because...
These machines are Made in China and have distributors in India

Oxygen concentrators need minimal maintenance and can be shifted from one room to another because of light weight, wheels and a long chord
One can read a book, watch TV or write a bit while inhaling oxygen more

+1
One's immunity also depends on the food that one eats. If one gives up eating meat, dairy items, white sugar & oil, one's immunity will improve within a few weeks. So become vegan more
Agreed. Lots of vitamin C through Citrus fruits & Seasonal fruits & vegetables & Alkaline diet helps to fight any disease. more

Very helpful. Thanks, Dr. Neelam Nath. May I have the liberty of being somewhat selfish: I am an 83 years old person. 3-4 times in the last about 2 year. I am a regular patient of Geriatric Medicine Department of AIIMS, where I was admitted in emergency - mostly at mid night. I was diagnosed chest infection and suggested antibiotics 625 (Amoxylin + Potassium,) and was cured. Last time around 22nd February I suddenly developed uneasiness when in a meeting from where I excused and the other people arranged a cab which took me home. During the journey of about 1/2 hour my condition deteriorated and asked the driver to open the door and help me reach the door. I was not able to walk, and started feeling like vomiting. I was rested on the sofa and help me vomiting. From there the young boy and his wife immediately took me to AIIMS Emergency phoned my GMD Doctor of reaching Emergency. On way I took out from SOS pack of medicines and put sorbitrate in the mouth. I did feel better on reaching the Emergency. I was extremely. Shortly I was removed to GM Ward. Being diabetic it long to bring down the sugar level. After about 10 days I was discharged. I am a heart patient also, with bye-pass surgery in 2003. My question is, whether I should keep in readiness ventilator, like, Oxygen Concentrator at home for emergency situations. What about the refills, and normally how much measure of oxygen would be consumed, say, in one hour continuous use? For taking a decision, expense does matter. Sorry for any inconvenience I am causing to you. Thanks with regards, more
Regards Sir, Wishing you good health, today and everyday
Thanks for sharing the details.
This machine shown above is my lifeline..
I have been admitted to hospitals innumerable times for COPD & I observed that I was given Oxygen+routine medicines which were prescribed to me by my Professor at AIIMS-1983
Then Fancy Inhalers Were Not Available & We Were Taught to Give Oral/Injections for COPD,
2008,I had a complicated Heart surgery on failing heart & low degree of lung functions
On Discharge,My Doctors at NHI,EOK were happy for my recovery & gave me lots to inhale
Looking at Nebulizers for COPD Made Me More Sick
After 2 years, I reverted to Oral Medication for COPD ( No Steroids)

If Oxygen can Help Me Sustain,it can help others too.
And there are No Side Effects of Inhalation of Oxygen
Remember Recently Oxygen Bars were made for people to inhale Oxygen @ 15 minutes only ( During High Levels of Pollution)
My suggestion is Go For it
Buy this Equipment from a reliable source
At Certain Nursing Homes,it is a routine practice to give Oxygen Therapy at home, after discharge of patients suffering from seasonal Pneumonia
This equipment is given on rent for discharged patients & most of distributors are working around Rajender Nagar because the areas around this place has lots of Nursing homes.
I bought one in 2010 & it lasted for 9 years ( did not have to call a person for repairs etc)
Then there were few companies, importing from Canada & USA & distributors were advertising in Newspapers
Pollution levels were also not so killing
As Demands were more, lots of machines are available online at lesser cost @30,000/- and no warranty
I was also Cost Conscious & purchased one for such machine which was Made in China & looked like a breakable item
Luckily Amazon got it back & I could return it within few days without using it
I have purchased from Philips dealer near my home, near Hare Krishna Temple EOK
Dealer has given me all assurance of after sale warranty & replacement during the periods, machine is getting repaired at somewhere in West Delhi
And I have saved 6,000/- because online it is available for 46,000/- & we are not sure about the Dealer We Are Dealing with
I have been using it for past one year & so far there was No Need to Contact the dealer
And I presume that it is going to last for another 8 years.
Feel free to Contact me,if I can be of some help to you.
Regards. more
