LPG delivery charges
It is very annoying that delivery boys continue to charge over and above the prescribed rate for LPG. One of the LPG companies Indane's website has this small note that too for online payment. Extra charging by delivery boys can be avoided ( https://indane.co.in/online-payment-facility-for-refills.php )
While these companies very well know that these delivery boys are over charging the wonder is why they don't take any action.
One of the reasons delivery boy gives is that they are not paid any salary by LPG company. Only 2-3 Rs commission is given and even if they deliver 100 cylinders a day this would amount to Rs. 200 which is not sufficient to run their family. LPG companies should clarify on this issue.
With many customers asked to give up subsidy Govt. must see to that customers are not exploited and at the same time LPG delivery boys are taken care.
In my opinion, LPG companies should issue statements on public media to create awareness on this issue. more

First of all Indian OIl online booking program itself rubbish. You will save Rs.5/- for online booking whereas an extra charges of Rs.6-22 is levied for which they are not giving clarification. To book online cylinder, you need to spend at least 2 to 3 hours. IOCL is blaming the net work agencies. Now a days most of the people have debit card/credit card/online payment system. The Oil companies should supply swiping machine to their agenicies and ask them to collect money which might take at least 10% day robbery will get reduced. In Hill areas like Nilgiris, the situation is pathetic. the agent will keep the cylinders in one place, and the villagers will carry the empty cylinder and they themselves carry it to home. Here also they give extra Rs.30 to 50/- Even the co-operative department who is one of the distributor is doing the same thing. Officials just closing their eyes and keeping silent. Quarterly meetings hardly conducted with consumers, even it is conducted, the IOCL official will not participate. more

Delivery is right within town limits, generally 5 Kms from showroom/office. SMS alert comes when the bill is generated and there is sufficient time for consumer to wait at home. He can call agency and find out about actual despacth. If access claim is made refuse to take delivery and return the refill before complaining. This can stop such a habit more

Delivery charges are demanded in an arbitrary manner and this should be put a stop to. Further Indane is the worst/most corrupt company. They are clearly contnuing with corruption in their own unique way. Earlier they used to make subsidy where not applicable and avoid giving LPG on time. Now you can see that order confirmation, the generation of bill and confirmation the LPG has been delivered through SMSes, The actual delivery happens much later may be over 5 -6 days after. You can't call the number and get help because in their system you have already got the LPG. In reality they must be charging some premium in black for diverting to customers who need LPG immediately and you will get when their delivery is scheduled. Obviously this must be happening with collusion of the Indane officals. I cannot see any ther reason for this new trend. PMs initiative to eliminate corruption is appreciated, but you need smart people to plug the system for all possible loppholes. Either those are left wilfully to get some benefit or the people are not clever enough to my the system foolproof. more

This is radiculous. There cannot be extra charges for delivery. The cost of gas includes door delivery charges. Will the Ministry look into this ???? more

Dear C.S.Ganesh, I tried the online payment and it is very cumbersome to register the same. At the end they are charging some other amount over and above the bill amount. off had I don't remember but it pertains to convenience charge or GST more
