LPG PAYMENT by CARD - Credit/Debit

It's high time that the option of payment for LPG Delivery is accepted by CARD or Cash as per consumer's preference.
All Dealers's Delivery personnel should be given POS M/c. Most of Couriers have already introduced this system, as a convenience and safety for their own personnel from getting waylaid.  This will avoid the “change” and “baksheesh” problems which are rampant. Besides it will be a good start for RuPay card usage. more

Actually the Gas Agencies are responsible for delivery of the cylinders at the main door of a house. We pay extra money to the concerned delivery boys because we ask them to carry the cylinders up to our kitchens and bring back the emptied cylinders there from. So it would not be fair to blame any one for the extra money paid. After all the delivery boys are poor chunk of people being paid negligibly by the dealers and are fully dependent on this extra payments for their livelihood. So we should not have any regret therefor. The Oil Companies should ask their dealers to expedite the facility of electronic payments, specially, when our PM wants to see India's total digitization soon. more
Kindly note that ever since Gas dealers went on hunger strike last year insisting GAS suppliers to increase their commission, all GAS suppliers have increased dealers commission which is inclusive of delivery charges. Despite that due to addiction by delivery boys, they still insist for chai pani. Much more important than this petty thing, give importance and insist unitedly with all GAS dealers to weigh the filled cylinder in presence of a customer at their house, since invariably, there is shortage of gas quantity, which goes unnoticed. Carrying a Weighing machine by delivery boy is possible, as there are many range weighing machines are available in the market. more
It is a good suggestion to carry swiping machine by the delivery boy to avoid confusion. more
Gas cylider delivery person always take min Rs 20 extra (without any receipt) more
