Maggi and lead content

I am extremely worried about Reports on Maggi. All over the last 2 years kids have been having it 2-3 times a week atleast. The damage is probably already done :( but is there anything that is recommended (tests) to find out the impact of it or something to neutralize the ill effects. Worrisome it is from a parent perspective. more

Dear Mr Bhagat Singh, Honestly this theory of LG and central working together is atrocious. Even Tomars false certificate is being attributed to that by our beloved CM. Why Maggi alone, what about adulteration in milk, ghee, oil and what not. Do you mean to say it is LG and Central govt. For heaven sake it is the system which we have inherited and no body has tried to correct the same for the last sixty years more
Ram Prakash Grover ji all this is due to corruption and money so collected reach upto top level ministers ie Any Police collects hafta/monthly and the monthy goes upto Police commission and Home Minister. Take another example of ACB at Delhi and centre tries through LG on ACB to protect their own people who may be indulged in corruption. more
Ram parkash grover ji, Technology in service of people,AIR FRYER takes no oil and fries all you want ........Did you lately see farah ki dawat.......... We are like asman se tapka Khajur mein atka............Shifting from oil to Air fryer to learn after many Years that Airfryer can be producing elements during frying which are bad for health. Our government listens to us at the time of election at other times it listens to people who go to them(Multinationals) more
In today's India, it is the Inspector/Police Raj ,that decides whether a product/service is safe/eatable/usable or not. If hafta/monthly reach them ,the product/service is certified as good/safe,otherwise not. But the fact remains, that what to talk of alcohol,cigarette/ bidi, gutka pan masala,EVEN bread, butter, ghee, refined or any other oil, sugar,salt,milk,SWEETS,curd,cheese,pakoda,samosa,tikki,cold/ soft drinks,pickles/jams or any fast/junk/packed/preserved/ processed food/juices, OR EVEN the fruits vegetables n honey, grains/pulses are all chemically/artificially grown,tempered/GM foods or treated with insecticides/pesticides and even mineral/RO water is not safe. BUT STILL THE COCONUT AND ITS WATER,SUGARCANE,SUGAR BEET AND ALL SEASONAL/FRESH VEGETABLES/FRUITS(WHICH ARE CHEAPER ALSO DURING FULL SEASON) CAN BE USED/TAKEN TAKING CERTAIN PRECAUTIONS LIKE DIPPING IN WATER N VINEGAR (SIRKA) OR SALT FOR THREE HOURS AND THEN FLUSH WASHING/WIPING BEFORE USE. A month back,it was in news that any oil when heated for frying/processing things, becomes completely poisonous after the fifth time heating. COMMERCIAL USERS SHALL NEVER THROW THE OIL AFTER FIRST USE,DUE TO PROFIT MOTIVE. Hence,IT IS AN ESTABLISHED FACT THAT all market fried/processed/preserved PRODUCTS are poisonous, also because they are not fresh. It does not need any testing/certification from any lab/authority. SO FRY AT HOME,IF YOU HAVE TO, AND IN GOOD COOKING OIL, AND DON'T RE-USE THAT OIL FOR FRYING/COOKING. CAN USE IT ELSEWHERE. more
I am fully agree with Mr Umesh Kumar ji that we should discourage our children from eating such cooked food from outsie. We all sould teach our children to take food that is cooked at home only. more
