Mahakumbh Loots

Airfares to Mahakumbh are basically airlines charging like 3-10 times as found in our circles survey

https://www.localcircles.com/a/press/page/mahakumbh-airfares

Keep in mind through that the loot is not limited to airfares, basic tents are selling upwards of 30k, good ones for 80k, taxi guys want thrice the normal price, supplies are being charged at 5-10x. See attached

This has to be done better. Are those going to Kumbh unofficially paying the organisers through all these channels is the question.

fact that Govt not acting against loot by airlines indicates something to the smart
people. more

We Indians do not have any right to complain for what is happening with Indians now. Indians have voted for a Government which is there to suck the blood of Indians. more
I wonder how people want to live in a free economy, want to flourish with free enterprise, but refuse to understand the simple rule of demand and supply. No one is forcing any one to go to Kumbh. No one is forcing you to buy the `necklace' from the girl. Why this hullabaloo for a millennia-old revered Hindu tradition? Colonial mindset? more
Initially I used the word `outrage' in place of `Hullabaloo' in my message above and LC refuse to accept my message. Is this selective censorship LC? more
There are some basic objective principles of life like "Survival of the fittest" " A fool and his money is parted soon" " The prices will go up when demand exceeds supply" If you apply these principles the answers are clear. When everybody knew that 40+ crores are going there why did you want to go? If you make that decision you have to bear the consequences. Any government cannot control the prices when demand goes so high in a short span. The stampede was not the result of government failure but indiscipline of the mob so again if you choose to be part of an unorganised, illiterate mob you may end up in a stampede. So you made a wrong choice to go there. more
30 people have lost lives. This is tourist promotion, Hindu philosophy popularization and fund collection for party. In democracies people's reaction is slow but elected governments are very quick to act on their agendas. Now all are learning from America. In the face of people's mandate, no law, no constitution, no treaty, no convention or morality or ethics is valid! This trend is going to be the nemesis of democracy and sprouting of dictatorships! more
i refuse to go to kumbh and such places total waste of hard earned money more
