If you have better suggestions, why can't you Mr. Deepak put up your proposals to the government. If feasible, government could implement. Government at it's best measures to contain this contagious infection. But, unless public obey covid protocol, spike in infection cannot be contained. It is time for public to take full responsibility to prevent infection. more

A soft lockdown is a passive option. Aggressive patrolling (sort of flying squads), establishing of check-points and being very strict (punitive measures) with people not following Covid Appropriate Behavior along with lock down is the dire need of the hour. The time to educate people is over, they need to automatically follow rules as a habit, and if they do not they should be penalized heavily. To augment the traffic police the SRPF can be roped in. And leaders need to set the example themselves. more
