Maintenance Charges levy by corporate buildings
Landlords of most commercial corporate buildings in Noida are levying high maintenance charges on those operating offices there.
For over a month now things have been closed and it will be 40 days.
Can the DM please pass an order asking these building owners to levy 50% charges for this period.
This is only of course if Noida administration and UP govt wants smes to survive.
Remember distressed or no smes equals high unemployment and hit on indirect tax collection like gst and customs duty.

I do agree with the suggestion. But shall ask to become more SMART enough and ensure waiver of GST permanently by forming a residential welfare society in the complex. Take over the service being provided by the third party for maintenance and do it through society. Benefits shall be substantial among others as below: 1. No GST up maintenance charges of Rs. 7500/- (GST Notification 12/2017-GST (Rate) as amended) 2. There shall be substantial reduction of charges even after inclusion of services not provided on date. 3. The quality of service shall be enhanced substantially. 4. Loopholes in the service shall be detected and society shall enjoy better service in future. In today's world there are substantial number of senior citizens in every society who are available to provide such service on chargeable as well as non chargeable basis. Therefore think LARGE and take the initiative for better NOIDA. more

Yes the DM should look into the matter and consider this as an important issue to address.All businesses are badly suffering from no income phase so government should own the responsibility to help them sustain in this tough time. more

yes everything is expected from common man like serve food to poor , no job cut, pay salary, pay also advance, do not take rent etc etc whole number of listings and also donate to PM CARE FUND , pay your full electricity bill etc etc etc NO RELIEF to common man from any quarter but NOTHING IS DONE , NOT EVEN CORONA VIRUS TEST IS FREE OF COST ,........ what to say ................. more

Agree, government has put the entire burden on middle class to deal with economical situation. Not even interest free EMI period is given as relief to common man. The business are 100% shut but you still have to pay fixed charges for commercial electricity which is huge amount, the fixed charges should be taken off completely during no usage. more

I agree with Mr. Gupta. MSMEs need to be protected at all costs as their employment capability isvery high. They need support so that the can continue to generate employment. more
