Major Flaw with IRCTC
this is plain consumer harrassment. the site already knows there is no lower berth. instead it should tell the customer before it charges the credit card.
now here we are stuck with our monies as IRCTC decided to charge and no refund even 2-3 days later. Wonder how much interest they keep earning as they sit on peoples money for days.
And here is the funny part - if I try 5 trains for 1 journey, technically they could charge me 5 times and say no lower berth. Its rather ridiculous. more
