Major improvement points
1. Convert all your bogie with automatic door closure to have control finally with driver (in engines). I hope you understand the advantages such as control on theft, etc.
2. Ensure train runs in time. Calculate the losses due to train one minutes late and inquire for each minutes from DSOffice/ RM office.Also remove the 20 minutes margin given in the arrival time at Major stations.
3.Form a team of Engineers to study further control of train accidents
4. Entire structure need to be re-studied. How the current system has been planned. As such local trains between two Capital stations (have stoppage at each stations), express trains (stopping at main stations) and finally faster trains stopping between very few important stations.
Means if I am staying at local station and I have to go to Capital station. I will get some connectivity to reach final destiny by first taking local then express and finally faster trains. The entire train structure need revision because at present with time we have added more trains but now the entire system need to be re-structured more

I traveled in Durango from Howrah to Yeswantpur.My experience was very satisfying with respect to cleaning,services and quality of food served.Wish all the trains have same standard.The only improvement point was absolutely no control of vendors inside the. compartments.This puts passengers to lot of inconvenience and stakes the security of luggage sand belongings.The entry of vendors should be banned immediately. more
