Majority Parents against sending wards to schools in April

As most of you know LocalCircles since April 20 has been tracking the collective pulse in circles on reopening of schools. After a long 8 months, most of you in late Jan expressed support for reopening of schools. The same was escalated and it happened in most parts of the country. Once again, with rising COVID cases, the situation has deteriorated and this time its different. The new strain B.1.1.7 is far more infectious amongst children in comparison to the original one. None of us of course thought that the summer spike would come so soon!As always do share your inputs on concerns as well as finding a solution to this situation so children can get back to physical schools at the earliest.

i see small/ young and some grown up children loitering around whole day in parks , Malls, Blocks ,market places , neighbourhood w/o masks and no wards having problems , this is happening now since more than eight months now , but they have problem in a controlled environment like school ?? i was interviewed early morning last year by a news channel in a big park ( fountain park , Janakpuri, New Delhi ) very early morning in november 2020 where crowds of kids young, small all age groups were playing w/o mask and to the channel surprise accompanied w wards w/o fear of covid , seems parents want a generation of children w/o education . well then let it be so more

All children's were playing Holi on street than no parent objected ,in sending school why against .For tutions children are going .School must be opened so that academic year is not wasted ,all give offline exams and take classes. Schools are charging fees than why not classes with all safety. more
