Sir, I have a small modification to be made on the Purchases made for consumer goods. There are several products such as tootpastes, cosmetics, medicines, garments, student notebooks, pens, pencils, food items, plasctic products like mugs, buckets, student notebooks, writing paper of different sizes (A4,Legal, A3) etc; wherein the prices are mentioned in very small letters, which is hardly visible even with Spectacles. I feel that since the products are meant for sale at the shops/malls, the Prices can be mentioned in a bigger font. There is no reason for hiding it in smallest fonts. I request the minister in-charge for Consumer affairs, through this circle, to look into this matter and give instructions to the people responsible to provide or display the price Prominently so that it is immediately visible to the naked eyes also. Thanks and regards. more
In foreign countries bar code readers are installed at convenient points in the shop and you can take the product near it to see the price. Fully agree with the suggestions. Hope Shri Rajendra Pratap Gupta will meet Minister and get it implemented. Waiting for his feedback . more
IF ONE GOES TO A MALL,YOU KNOW THE PRICE ONLY AFTER SCANNING ON THE PURCHASED ITEMS AT THE BILL COUNTER.THEY DO NOT PRINT THE PRICE ON MOST OF THE ITEMS.WHEN WE PICK THE ITEMS,THE PRICE SHOULD BE KNOWN.BECAUSE IF THE PRICE IS KNOWN WHILE PICKING IT IS POSSIBLE TO TAKE A DECISION WHETHER WE NEED IT OR NOT OR SHOULD WE GO FOR AN ALTERNATIVE BRAND. more
