Make Flight cancellation charges to be 20 pct of fare
I am in support of the cause raised below that demands that Govt reduce air ticket cancellation charge to 20% of the flight fare

I feel the suggestion for 20 % cancellation charges is apt. Have you come across any air line who compensate for delay in departure from their side ? Such one way traffics should be stopped forthwith. more

I fully agree with Mr sarkar . If they do not agree to reduce the cancellation charge then in that case some time due to othwer problem in their side the whole flight is cancelled or some time enormous delay or frequently delay for one or two hours in comparison with the arrival and departure time schedule ( Reason for the delay is said technical snag , which is a beautiful word the passenger can not protest) in that case the authority should refund Rs 750 /hour basis to the passengers as inconvenience charge. if the cancellation charge is accepted as 10% of the air tkt then in that case also 10% of the air tkt should be refunded to the passenger as inconvenience charge for any delay. It should not be one way traffic. more

I agree. Cancellation charges should cover only administrative and clerical charges. I think 10% charges should be enough. more
