Make railway better

Government has removed facility of concession in 1st class AC & also executive chair car in Shatabdi Express for both Senior citizen & disable persons.
It has become very difficult for such person to travel without any comfort.
First this concession MUST be restored.
I fear that slowly all AC concession will also be removed.
Other government in the world are increasing the facility for their Senior Citizen & disabled person. Where as in India, the existing facility are removed.
I have doubt whether our Hon, PM is aware of this action taken ? more

While I agree with other measures suggested by circle members to improve the economics of the railway, I do think that those looking for luxury should pay for it. If you want to travel first class, pay for it or else travel by second AC. Surely this class of people can afford to pay for their "comfort". There are crores of people who do not even get a minuscule amount of luxury that this class gets. Why should the railways subsidize this well off class. Of course this does not mean that railways should not make an effort to cut down costs where they can. One such unnecessary expense is the free wi-fi being provided by the railways. With data now being provided so cheap by mobile companies, this is an unnecessary burden on the railways. more
I still maintain that seniors belonging to the affluent class need not be given subsidy. more
yes agree, but concessions for seniors and disabled should be restored and not removed more
Instead of withdrawing concessions for the Disabled our dear Prime Minister should intervene and withdraw all concessions and privileges of Railway Officers. Inki Akal tab hi thikane ayegi. more
rightly said. more
yes,all concessions and priorities to railway-personnel, so called VIPs,MLAs,MPs must be withdrawn first. tax payers money can not be allowed to make them comfortable. more
The concession is to be treated by the Government of India as humanitarian consideration provided to senior citizens who wish to travel with comfort in higher classes. This concession is not to be scrapped and without any second thought is to be restored immediately. more
