Making Dustbins Effective - Inputs Needed
In my opinion the following actions may be initiated for effective use of Dustbins ;-
1. Dustbin must be prepared on such basic
ingredients having no re-sale value e.g. Synthetic
base with movable cover;
2. Civic authority has to give responsibility atleast
local 3 citizens residing nearby installation of
dustbin to supervise the installed dustbins and
report the same to the concern civic authority for
proper servicing & theft of dustbin,if required:
3. Civic authority has to educate the local people for
proper use of dustbins and not to put / stag
wastage on any other places;failing to which some
penalty amount shall be levied to local residents.
