Following things should be included in school curriculums:

1) Basic First Aid and CPR
2) Disaster preparedness
3) Safe practices or Public Safety
4) Basic Personal Finance
5) Ethics and Integrity
6) Civic Engagement Projects
7) Healthy Habits
8) Gender Sensitisation
9) Educate an unprevileged child Project
10) How things work/Basic Engineering
11) Basic Medicine
12) World History
13) Debating Skills
14) Auto Biographies

I an sure there are more and everyone adds their suggestion a nice comprehensive list can emerge. more

also need to remove undue pressure of books, as well as subject in which student not showing their interest, viz. some students are unable to understand formula of algebra, truly speaking till date i am unable to understand why we have read elgebra, logarithm, physics, etc. when i am working as accountant, clerk. inspite all that our education system is unable to prepare a good clerk, accountant, engineer, doctor, etc. as my experience every one is learning with practical experience may be any field. more  
In my opinion, Ethics and Integrity and Healthy Habits should figure as first two items for implementation. more  
Basic of atmavishwas,Sathya sanathana Dharam,vedic and vidic Shastra, Sanskrit is a must as OS for all students. more
