Making train journey easy for elderly & differently abled people
As my mother is suffering from acute arthritis she is not able to take a journey by train as the stairs are very high so my suggestion to the railway ministry is that they should make arrangements for people like my mother so that they can easily board or unboard a train for example small ramps more
Railways should have thought about this since last many years. The department is deaf and mute to solve these daily problems and give peace to the needy people. When will they wake up and take the remedial measures. Are you listening Mr. Railway minister? more
Indian railways should examine to find out a positive solution to the problem once for all. In fact, our railways has shown its inclination in recent days to find out solutions to most of the passengers' problems and has restructured its policy pro-passengers by introducing several new systems in trains. It is surprising that an important issue as referred to in the post still remained unattended. However, looking to the size of Indian railways and huge issues needed to be resolved to make the railways user friendly and comfortable, it may require some more time to redress the issue. more
