Malpractices in travel booking - dark patterns

The LocalCircles surveys on dark patterns have started getting published in media already. Just saw attached which very nicely covers how many portals use dark patterns on consumers when they are trying to book hotel and airline tickets.

I believe that other than these 3 tricks 2-3 more dark patterns are being used by travel sites to mislead consumers and charge more or profit from them.

LC Manager keep up the good work. More people should come forward to share their experiences with dark patterns.

If we wont speak up, we are giving passive permission to travel hotel and airline sites to charge us more. more
