MANAGING DIABETES WITH INDIAN HERBS
1. Bitter-gourd --- ( Kerala ) It is packed with various Anti- Oxidants that are much helpful to fight with the complications of Diabetes by scavenging harmful free radicals . A type of plant insulin called polypeptide is found in bitter gourd that reduces the blood sugar level by considerable percentage . But if you suffer from hypoglycemia never use the concentrated form such as Karela Juice .
2. Fenugreek ---- (Methi) Clinical trails and researches have established that soaked fenugreek seeds used before each meals and breakfast on daily basis can improve most metabolic symptoms associated with Diabetes Type 1 & 2 both. It slows down the rate of carbohydrate absorption in blood and as a result of which blood glucose level is reduced .
