Manifesto by AAP
I would suggest a novel method for some checks on Politician - Business world nexus.
Like declaration of assests by contestants for Parliament & Assembly. AAP should ask its candidates to furnish details of their kith & kins and close relatives who have interest in Business world in top industries.the candidate if elected under no circustances be given a governement portfolio that he can misuse his powers.All elected politicians take a pledge to serve the country and countrymen.
see what is the result of no such checks:
1- One Patel is petroleum minister in Gujarat who is alleged to be a relative of Ambani.
2-Pawar was agricullture minister and owns a number of sugar mills and has interest in agriculuture business.
3-vadra is son inlaw of sonia gandhi and interested in real estate.
4-mulayam singh allegedly owns farm/ banquet houses .
5-so many politicianns have business interest in real properties.
6-rajev shukla's wife owns a news channel and films/ television production house.
7-some politicians directly controls school business and have mangement and engineering colleges of self or direct relatives.
8-there are so many cases where direct interest is involved so how can you rule out the possibility of favouratism.some politicians who held top portfolios in commerce/finance/ homemay have direct or indirect interest in share market.
there is end less list.Let AAP start this from very begining and ask for disclosure . AAP should also request the Election Commision to add this clause in declaration when filing nomination . This will atleast have some check. more

Once we ensure a corruption & bias free governance all the points as Mr.Dave has raised above will be automatically addressed.Lets first improve the system towards providing better governance as that can take of such issues. more

Avinash Daveji. For this suggestion's implementation, we need to carefully define the term as Business Interest. .. Ideally it sounds good but practicality it becomes a bit complicated to define and to put in practice sirji. more
