Manipulating kids for sell of their products

Number of Local and MNCs now compliment toy with kids candies/chocolate/wafers/chips and good number of kids (not all of course) purchase these products for the complimentary toys only and do not eat the main product. Does this companies take license for these complimentary toys also and are these companies registered as a toy companies ? i think this amount to manipulation with the mindset of kids who force their parents to buy this for them. This must be banned. more

So true. I raised this issue earlier. In most countries, including toy with food is completely banned. If you see gems with and without toy, there is hell of difference in price too. The cost of those cheap toys may not be more than 1 or 2 rupees in bulk for the company. Hence it serves them two purpose, one is profit another is advertisement by attracting kids. This is totally unethical practice to attract kids towards junk. Kinder joy survives only because of toy. Else everyone knows their 'natural' propaganda by a fake mom on adds is a total lie. more
Its true, many companies are now following this unhealthy & immoral trade practices not only to sell their products but they increase the prices of such items exorbitantly. In return, some very small size plastic toys are packed along with the eatables, which are of no use and the children lose their interest once the pack is opened. The quality of the eatables is also unknown. The concerned department should pay their immediate attention towards this issue and ensure that this unhealthy practice is stopped forthwith. more
