Mask Compliance out the window

LocalCircles has done a survey which indicates 1 in 20 is complying with mask mandate and this is the reality

https://www.localcircles.com/a/press/page/adenovirus-survey

I think the need now is to ask people if they are ok with mandates in schools, colleges, offices etc.

Most people I feel dont even have a mask at home and those who do atleast 75% aren’t carrying with them.

Please find out more details on this front. Unless this is not in place I feel many will keep falling sick… more

Stop pushing masks to healthy people. It does nothing as proven by many studies. People need to understand when they feel sick what they need to do to stop others from getting sick. I still see many cough and sneeze on hand and do not wash or sanitize before touching others. Simple things can stop the spread by people using common sense. more
I really hope that people will not behave like ignoramuses … one should have learned from past mistakes … therefore please start wearing masks and follow Covid protocols … same should be followed for any virus epidemic … by any other name … more
Let us understand one thing very clearly Masks plays little role in prevention of the disease. A recent and massive study by Cochrane ( one of the most renowned and prestigious medical body independent of the drug lobby ) observed that "There is uncertainty about the effects of face masks. The low to moderate certainty of evidence means our confidence in the effect estimate is limited, and that the true effect may be different from the observed estimate of the effect. The pooled results of RCTs did not show a clear reduction in respiratory viral infection with the use of medical/surgical masks. There were no clear differences between the use of medical/surgical masks compared with N95/P2 respirators in healthcare workers when used in routine care to reduce respiratory viral infection. Hand hygiene is likely to modestly reduce the burden of respiratory illness, and although this effect was also present when ILI and laboratory-confirmed influenza were analysed separately, it was not found to be a significant difference for the latter two outcomes." In the beginning of the Pandemic New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM) published a study titled "Universal Masking in Hospitals in the Covid-19 Era" writes "We know that wearing a mask outside health care facilities offers little, if any, protection from infection". more
When things will be out of control, people will wear mask, follow COVID protocol and simultaneously curse the government for not doing anything on COVID front..this is the duty of public to follow the COVID norms and restrict spread .. Blaming government will not work... more
I agree with this. Even in Airlines most of the passengers are not wearing Masks. Only about 10-15% are wearing masks. However, as Mr. Bhagwat says... I do not agree that Government should make masks compulsory. ..... WE OURSELVES SHOULD MAKE MASKS COMPULSORY. more
