Masking takes a major hit as states remove mask mandates

Many of you know how LocalCircles has been tracking mask compliance. Since last week, states have started removing mask mandates at a time when mask compliance is already poor. Below is the full report.

9 in 10 say mask compliance not effective in their district

The challenge for India is with 5 new Covid variants surging globally and international flights open, we are vulnerable. And this vulnerability only goes up when only 1 in 10 is masking appropriately while others are just not doing it or not doing it properly.

If you care for this issue, do share the link above with your social media contacts, state government and any others. As much as we all want COVID to go away, caution is the need of the hour so we do not get another COVID shock like the Delta led 2nd wave. more

See the Hot Climate of during April to June. Is it Humanly possible to wear the mask throughout the day in open? It is possible only in A/C environment. more
Mask has to be mandated at least for next couple of years or till the exit of covid. Let the government decide in whatever way but citizens must understand and appreciate the situation and be sensible and cautious by following the protocols. more
Mask wearing should be mandated ! It will definitely reduce the risk of getting infected with new types of Covid variant! more
Any how most of us have become used to wearing masks, there is no harm in continuing with the same. New variant in China and Western countries. We do not know why these variants will enter India with many international flights started. Better to be careful more
