Mass Cheating in Exams

Mass cheating is a common common phenomenon in so many states like UP Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhatisgarh, Haryana, Rajasthan.

Notes are passed in classrooms, parents, friends throw chits from windows, teachers in some cases turn blind eye.

I want to urge everyone in this circle to share their experience on this.

We disucss so many problems of national importance. These fools who are cheating some day become sarkari babus or doctors or even netas. Imagine what they will do to the society.

Lets identify the problem and then like localcircles always do find solutions. more

Examination should be done in Big public halls with the presence of police more
For each subject there should be 5 sets of question papers each having same questions at different serials. Say question one in set 1 should be at serial 7 in second set. Make cheating difficult. Employ retired soldiers for invigilation. Enforce section 144 with in 500 mtrs of examination center. more
Board examinations should in 2 phases. Phase-I - objective types only. Questions should come from a question bank, each chapter of one subject must have at least 30 questions. To an examinee, one question would come at random from them which hr has to answer. Implicit that this phase would be on-line computer based. Thus. if a subject contains 10 chapters. an examinee has to answer 2x10 questions. But he/she has to prepare for 300 questions - sufficient yo acquire proficiency. Only those who have scored min. 50% - will be allowed to sit for Phase-II examination. There should be at least 8 sets of question papers - each question paper should be distinct - although the nature of the questions and expected answers should be same - to eliminate the disparity of hard/softness among sets. However, the devil has filled this country with exuberant provisions of all kinds of venoms. Even Headmasters/Principal of schools have been alleged to be involved in unfair practices! more

Since education is a State subject, it is a horrendous task to check mass copying as politicians and teachers fully support it. Some people do this business it for the sake of easy money. If CCTV cameras are installed in every examination hall, outside police is depolyed and severe punishment is awarded to students and supervising staff, this menace can be brought under control. The education department officials who change the answer sheets should be dismissed from service and put behind bars for 10 years. The admission to higher/professional studies should merit based only to improve the quality of passouts for the betterment of society and the nation as a whole. more
