MATERNITY BILL IS FAVORABLE TO THE HEALTHY FAMILY LIFE, CARE FOR NEW BORN, ECONOMIC SAFETY TO THE FAMILY TO JOIN SERVICE AFTER COMPLETION OF 26 MONTHS. GOOD MOVE. more
This is rediculous to attach maternity leave Bill with startup.how many startup projects r going to recruit women employees? I have worked in such projects , there were young men women employees both unmarried n married. Many got engaged while working at a very odd project site n almost many from local n nearby got employed as per govt rule to recruit locals . But at no point of time we ever faced any such problems as people are expressing concern. Inked PET mein shayad dard ye haiku, jyada paid leave deni padagi or kuchh nahi. Jai HIND more
Employer must make i friendly for the woman employee and ensure she gets full salary, bonus, allowance and leaves for 2 years. more
This is a very sensitive bill and needs to be resolved collectively considering our socio-cultural environment. India cannot go the western way. Our youngsters who are thriving to follow the western culture today later in their life will understand the value of Indian culture and will come back. The family is the basis of our society and the roles of both men and women are well defined in it. While home making is a multi-task activity which women manage better than men office activities are like line functions that need hardly any skill. Today we all know how automation replaces human resources across all functions. It is necessary to define here the role of a housewife. It is much more than a woman. A housewife networks the two families her and her in-laws. She further networks her family with the society, her neighbours. Keep her family healthy by cooking foods that her husband and their children love to eat. She is a good inventory manager to get her provisions economically and effectively and a good finance manager to safeguards her family from all adverse situations and make out a kitty well enough to take care of them after her husband's retirement. She is good HR manager to motivate her husband thus he becomes more productive in his works and sends her children cheerfully to schools every day. Her love and care not only keeps her children happy, safe but her constant interaction with them pass the family culture and values to the next generation. At this juncture, the central government should take a consolidated view involving all sections of people how to safeguard our daughters while upkeeping our age old Indian culture. It is time for this country to understand that the real backbone of a country is its women. When we provide free schooling for girl child and some states provides assistance for their marriages as well why not we provide the average per capita income of our country to every housewife to motivate them to be housewives? While an employed man can marry an unemployed woman the reverse is difficult. This will solve most of our social issues that we are plaguing in today. Thanks more
I would suggest that over and above 12 weeks' maternity leave available prior to this amendment, it should be with half pay. Why employer should bear the entire burden? Let it be on 50:50 for employee and employer. more
