Meat Shops in Noida
News papers are quoting the district food officer and saying all meat shops in Noida and Greater Noida selling mutton, chicken, fish or buffalo meat are illegal. this means no meat available in noida.
Is there a plan to give licenses to them. what about supermarkets like hypercity, spencers. even they should not be allowed then to be fair to the small shops. more

Yes' sensible act has been already done.... Notice has been already given many times but due to No action by SP govt. they don't don't find any reason to take license. Even closed units by Nagar Mahapalika opened by political influence & running illegally. more

If we see it on a wider horizon, govt has in its hurry to please a section of its voters, issued the orders to shut slaughter houses without realizing what impact it will have on farmers who sell their dry animals to buy new animals. There are people who depend on the skin-the tanners and people who are in the business of manufacturing leather garments for export, belts, purses and suitcases etc. There are people in the business of horns and bones. All these trades are shut down because of this order. Question now is who benefits from this order. It turns out that the Export Oriented Slaughter houses are now gearing up to take over domestic market too. So the big fish eats the small fish. Retail outlets cant compete with spencer like set ups. Ultimately frozen meat only will be sold thru such outlets and a few small ones who can afford specified shops will remain in the market. It may also happen that this whole exercise may fizzle out after a few days depending upon the commitment level of the govt and its staff. Lets hope for the best. By the way, anyone ever heard of food poisoning bcoz of meat products sold in India? more

Everything has a life. Even vegetables have life and it is proven scientifically that not only they have life but also have senses, feeling of pain . The only difference isbthat we can't hear plant's cry because of sound frequency. Having non veg food is not only for taste buds but a source of food. If entire world just depends on veg diet than there will not be enough food for all and veg prices will shoot up. Let us try to look at issues with unbiased approach. By the way I am mostly prefer vegetarian food with occasional non veg..but that is my personal choice and killing an animal for food is not a sin or act of inhuman. Moreover all illegal business should be closed including fruit, vegetable and grocery shops..it is a biased decision just to target meat sellers. Moreover all big slaughter houses running export business should be closed down but they will kot because they belongs politicians. Google and check who are owners and exporters of beef from India and you will be surprised to see the names which include those who don't even touch meat. more

The sensible act would have been that all meat shops whether licensed or unlicensed big or small should have been given notice to close down these horror houses(slaughter houses). On the name of business and employment, you can't justify mass murder of poor voiceless animals. All those who argue that they have the right to choose their food are hypocrites and inhumane.They should know that they don't have the freedom to kill and torture living beings just for their taste buds. Who has given them the right to kill animals? Only they have the rights. Don't Animals have any rights?? more

hypercity, spancers sell frozen products...Govt banning slaughter house...those who cut meat roadside or cut chicken in shop not sell pre-cut. more
