Electronic Media should show some restrain by not jumping the gun, just bcz they have to engage people with sensational news. For eg. the price rise - make it as an issue; but don't run the story throughout the day, without even waiting for the action from Govt. Problems of petrol and gas price are with the result of external factors. Why can't the media analyse these facts and report the actual problems, instead of squarely blaming the Govt. Any corrective action to curtail price rise takes little time. The media should, therefore, focus on whether the Govt is taking action or not and track the real issues which are impediments to the problem. They should project and be happy if the actions are 'tending' to bring normalcy. Moreover, the media in this country are behaving the same way the cheap politicians do - making the youth more lazy - by running 24x7 entertainment channels and show as if cenema is the only thing which is good for the people and only persons engaged in cenema are the ones worth living. Govt should soon come out with Dos & Don'ts for media. more
for last 8-10 years,I have saved lots of money of local trains in Mumbai by switching off PASSAGE FANS of trains when one or two-three people standing on footboard and taking fresh cool air. They did not come to know only. They were in no need of passage fans..There should be specific announcement in train asking commuters to SWITCH OFF the PASSAGE fans that are not REQUIRED by STANDING PEOPLE. more
Sincere advice to Mr.Narendra Modi to be wary of the National electronic media who is bent upon false propaganda and false reporting. This media thinks they are supreme and report what ever they want. They are acting as though they are the judge and their word is final. more
