Medical insurance companies use innovative method to sale hospital secrets
Insurance companies while scrutinizing claims for medical insurance ask for indoor case papers . why , I could not understand this as doctors lobby should object as the insurance TPA company employees are not selling their treatment secret in market in the name of query . one of the Insurance TPA -Raksha Health Insurance TPA P Ltd of United India Insurance company asked such requirement/ How it is justified and why doctors lobby - association - body not object for such practice of insurance companies . I very well remind all that IT companies during interview with prospective employees used such technique for solving their problems in the name of interview question. There is nothing wrong if TPA/Insurance company asks for any document/information in support of claim / justifying the claim. I do not go for CASHLESS treatment. In cashless treatment, there are chances that cost of treatment may be inflated. And, patient may have to bear/pay considerable amount of treatment, which TPA/Insurance company may not reimburse. more

Mr.Madan Kumar Devanth, Are you lobbying for the Hospitals/doctors for hidding treatment related indoor papers or please clearly make out what is your concern? Is it not in the public interest that hospitals/doctors should be transparent enough to disclose and make public treatment papers? What is the problem please? Who doesn't know about the practice of inflated billings done by most of the hospitals/doctors whenever patient is having a health insurance? TPAs are well within its right to obtain and verify indoor treatment papers before passing the claims. more
