medical/dental frauds

in most medical facilities and dental clinics lot of fraud is going on.... patients r being treated by attendants n bams ppl.... private hospitals dont want to employ doctors mbbs etc coz they hav to b paid properly.... when they r charging hefty fees frm patients..... in dental clinics no radiation protection being done.... no sterlization.... doctors/dentists treat patients with un-sterlized gloves n instruments..... doctors themselves keep making fool of patients n keep prescribing very strong antibiotics.... n dont refer to specialist or superspecialist even when not able to manage case.... more

agree with Dr Pankaj. Doctors do not make fool of patients as it sullies the reputation very quickly. A bad reputation is the worst nightmare for any professional in any walk of life. it must be also be appreciated most of the time a lot of patients behave very imapiently and change doctors almost on daily or alternate days. It is always desirable to choose choose your doctor carefully depending on many aspects-distance being one of them- and try to stick to him/ her. No sensible person will cheat a loyal customer. more
two alternatives. IF YOU do not like the hospital or doctor leave him. OR complain to director of medical science and sanitary inspector if you have time other wise live happily more
Dear Member, I disagree with you.. The patients have every right to go to the doctor they choose.. I have ONE advice for everyone here.. Rely on the DOCTOR rather than the BRAND of the hospital/Clinic.. Rest if u have any proof, do let us know of the most doings of the doctors.. more
Where is the vigilance by the government. Strict action should be taken against such private medicals. more
It is a pity that the middle and lower middle class have to live in conditions dictated by the service providers and are not able to choose the service with good quality as they desire in day to day life. They are not able to visit Government run hospitals for various reasons. The private hospitals are many and are rarely equipped with good infra-structure and personnel. They charge high but the patients do not get treatment from qualified persons . If a specialist doctor consults for your ailment it is either you know him or spend time to meet him only or pay a price for it. Every specialist doctor is too busy with many patients or waive precautions to be used while consulting a patient. They simply do not change the gloves, protection for radiation or sterilize instruments every time after use as in that time they can consult more patients. Or else the attendants employed are not doing their job right. May be the doctors overlook them. Prescribing strong antibiotics is harmful for patients as they will never later get cured by simple ones. All doctors feel that if they can cure it is good or none can cure it and hence do not refer to specialist. Okay. Having said all this is there a remedy to the problem. May be some philanthropist need to open simple consulting services encompassing all branches of medicine and work to help the common man. Also refer to specialists in need. The system should locate some good service minded doctors who prefer to help the community and thus give back to the society as they studied in public tax money. Alternately why not all the specialist doctors offer free service every other day to help the suffering poor. OF COURSE THIS SUGGESTION DOES NOT OVER RULE THE PRIME AIM OF CLEANLINESS, HYGIENE , STERILISATION, RADIATION PROTECTION , CHANGING GLOVES WITH EACH PATIENT AND MANY MORE SAFETY AND HYGIENE RELATED TASKS TO BE PERFORMED BY ALL DOCTORS. In short they must be doctors & humanist and not specialist money earners more
