Must have been some years ago. A 5 lac cover for you (if they underwrite the policy based on medical), will cost Rs 64174/75499 depending if you opt for sub limits or not respectively. We may speak. more

I had spoken to ICICI Lombard. They told me that because of my age they will not entertain me for the Mediclaim Insurance. more

These days medical insurance can be taken at any age. Max Bupa and ICICI Lombard offer such policies, as does Apollo Munich. Best depends on what you are looking for. Naturally premiums are high as you age, since possibility of claim increases. But its better to have some cover available. I deal with ICICI lombard, and can advise one on one @9891279035. Choice of how much insurance to have, would depend upon where you live, family composition, pre-existing ailments, medical history etc. more

What is your Age? You can Take the Mediclaim Policy mostly up to the Age of 60. I am 83. I have my old Mediclaim Policy from New India Insurance Co. going. New Policies to Senior Citizens I think they do not issue. more
