Infrastructure and civic issues – Drainage, Roads/Traffic Congestion ii. Waste management – GOI in consultation with Dutch embassy iii. Grievance redressal – Website for complaints and 1 hour daily office hours from 11 am to 12 pm for public grievances 1. Companies to spend 2% of net profit on CSR - E&Y has a Community Foundation to assist in this initiative b. Horrendous situation for Gurgaon’s GDP – Sector 37 is a SHAME – Garbage, Malaria, Industrial Houses in Udyog VIhar, Mosquitoes, Janitors not working or collecting garbage, tons of garbage, no underpass under Rajiv Chowk that has been sanctioned for 2 years, people smoking Hookah on the street right outside BJP Karyalaya, broken roads, wears off tires every couple of months, rampant power cuts/electricity outages – Let us sort this out – I have proof – videos and pictures. With bad GDP in production, how will India progress or Gurgaon progress? c. What this Millenial City Needs From Its New BJP Government i. Gurgaon as a commercial hub contributes to more than 40% of Haryana’s GDP but is virtually neglected when it comes to public sector spending. ii. We need Rajiv Chowk and Genpact Chowk to be manned at all times by cops. Ridiculous traffic situation. So much time wasted in traffic jams. iii. Due to the impending construction of the DLF metro, roads outside the metro enclosures are broken and badly damaged and the walking footpaths are non-existent. I cannot even walk across the street from my building. Why can we not have humane roads and footpaths? We do not deserve it? iv. Power cuts/electricity outages regularly in Udyog Vihar and residences. Disgusting? v. Litter in Udyog Vihar and all around Gurgaon and lots of and lots of Pigs. Litter litter everywhere! No dustbtns/garbage cans. vi. No parks for people who don’t live in fancy buildings. Missing greenery. No plans to plant trees. Just buildings and no greenery. vii. Lots of chances of malaria and dengue for residents of Gurgaon, regular replacement of tires, lots of expenditure on generators and invertors and sleepless nights and inefficient and unproductive days at work, bad air quality that causes heart and lung diseases such as asthma, weakness in the body, body aches, bad immune system, cancer, breathing difficulties, depression and stress.
