Meetings - What not to do
Checking the wall clock or the watch constantly means, you are not showing any interest in what the other person has to say. The other person might take it as a rude gesture.
If you constantly check your phone or e-mail, you won’t be able to focus on your work. Your prospect might get an idea that you are not interested in the meeting.
It signifies you are neither focused nor paying attention to things that have been said or discussed. In fact, your appearance is putting off the person sitting in front of you. So, avoid it at all cost.
