Merging UAN of earlier employers with the current

Hello,

I was employed with a particular employer from 2012 to 2014. After that, I joined another company where I was told that the PF of previous employer could not be transferred there and a fresh EPF account was opened. A new UAN was generated for the new EPF account.

Now I have joined another company where I am planning to merge both the UANs and transfer them to the present employer.

Please let me know whether this is possible. If yes, I will appreciate if anyone can guide me through the process.

Regards,
Shahid Ali. more

All PF numbers are supposed to be linked with one UAN, you can't have multiple UAN....raise a grievance...thanks On Fri, 24 Mar 2017 07:53:29 +0530 "Shahid Ali" wrote > more
Hi, UAN is one not many. Only PF account number is many as and when there is a change of employer this will be used. But, even many PF numbers can be merged with one UAN if its KYC is completed. Just check your employer who has created your first UAN can be used for this. If not you have to claim this amount by submitting 19 & 10 C only criteria for claiming is you are not employed anywhere. However, you can transfer your PF from one to another account by providing online form 13 transfer form or physical form 13 can be produced for each and every PF account to existing PF account number. Thanks G.Kumar more
