Metro station mismanagement

A cross section of the (now daily) long queue to enter metro station at Udyog Bhawan. Janpath is the same story.

Some entitled genius has decided that metro stations shouldn’t open all their gates for passengers when people can go and party everywhere.

Both absurd & cruel and social distancing goes for complete toss. more

There is not even a semblance of Service at Delhi metro. It should be handed over to Indian Railways. The Mumbai Local is much better & more timely. Even after 15 years they have not published a time table. Stations are deserted, and entrances are closed, forcing more people to congregate at limited entrances increasing the risk of infection. more
India is no more what we saw 75 years back. All these 75 years, bricks have been laid one by one till today. Of course during mid & late 80"s it was double bricks to push us to global level and recognition. But nothing has ben done to wipe out the fear of shortages, insufficiency and insecurity. These 3 quaities of the people are being eploited by the Politicians to keep a setionat where they are. more
Please understand you are in India and your expectations are incorrect. more
I am fully agreed with you and surprise how the brainless people controlling the DMRC. No proper reply at helpline number, no answer with station controller. They don't understand the problem of working class people. They just receive the message from Metro Bhawan and close the door not bother about others. It's really ridiculous. more
Same story is at Adarsh Nagar metro station. The behavior of CISF is also very bad, when people ask any question regarding this crowding, they threatened to beat . Please do something. more
This is not CISF issue. They are doing what they had ordered to do. This is issue from decision taking person which is handling administration. more
