Microsoft Surface Pro 4 - Product Recall/Class action candidate

Attached is how the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 product is working for us. It was purchased a few years ago via Flipkart. It is a defective product where the screen tends to flicker as attached. 3 points:

1) The product was recalled in USA but not in India

2) it should be mandatory for manufacturers to do a product recall in India in coordination with ecommerce sites. All the data of who bought should be there.

3) class action must be initiated by CCPA or Dept of Consumer Affairs in all such cases.

The same has been escalated to Microsoft but is yet to see resolution. Even if it does, it will be resolution for this particular customer. What about hundreds of thousands of other customers who are struggling with the same device, same issue. more

I have also horrible experience for Microsoft Surface Pro 6 , just around one years of purchase its high end feature of touch screen, for which I actually purchased this high cost computing machine, got failed. Now Touch screen don't work for my Surface Pro 6 and its failing for many users, but Microsoft is not owning this failure and not recalling this product. Whenever I call their customer care help line in India, they have only one line reply that your product is now out of warranty, and there is no repair scope of only screen in Surface Pro, rather entire device need to be replaced with a new device by paying new device cost to Microsoft. Please understand message of Microsoft, purchase my surface device after spending more than one Lakh, and then in one year moment it starts giving problem, come to me and I shall replace your defective old Surface Pro with a new Surface Pro again in one lakh rupees, that means Microsoft has created an annuity model from its Surface Pro devices for charging a big amount from customers, but never to say that their screen technologies have failed, and never agreed to recall it. Microsoft is very clever, never own a Technology failure , always push it to customers by citing some warranty clauses. Such companies should be severely punished by its customers as well as Govt. of India. more

With so much product knowledge that the product was recalled in US...why buy the same and that too Online where in many cases the Manufacturers don't entertain warranties in products bought online and not from their company stores/dealers. more
